on saturday afternoon I took an opk test and got a smilie. Then later that night I didn't get a smilie.
sunday morning I got a smilie and another smilie in the afternoon.
so I inseminated saturday night and sunday night.
it wasn't alot of sperm but I did it anyway. We are doing one more tonight. Better safe than sorry. I didn't get a smilie this morning but the test did look like it was a dud. So I'm doing another pretty soon. I'm cd 16. Tomorrow will officially be 1 dpo if no smilie this next opk.

I'm really tired and have a headache. I'm even light headed. But excited.

not much going on for me. I'm 7dpo and trying not to obsess over every symptom. temp is up and looking good, but the waiting is oh so hard. chart

a pos opk means you will ovulate in the next 36-48 hours, so if you got your first pos on sat you will probably ovulate mon or tues. id save an insem for tonight or tomorow morning if it were me. good luck!

cherrie are you temping? you can get a pos opk and o the same day, or it can be 48 hours after the last pos. the avg is 36 hrs from the first pos.

Hey ladies, I'm going to be a baddie and not do personals right this second myself, but I do have to ask--can you all indulge me moment--I'm being totally shameless here.

8 (9 in the morning) DPO and I've been super belchy for the last two days. Could it be a pregnancy sign? Also, very hungry, although I'm always hungry anyway. It just seems more pronounced right now.

9dpo and BFN on a Dollar Store test this afternoon.

I'm feeling pretty zen about it; I know it's early and I also didn't think we'd conceive on the first try anyway. I haven't been experiencing any symptoms at all (not even pre-menstrual ones) so who knows.

I was still excited even though it was negative because this was my first ever pregnancy test! It was fun to do! The test itself was a lot smaller than I had thought.

I won't test again unless my period doesn't show up and my temps remain high. It's due Friday.

My temp was still up this morning, so I'm confident I've ovulated. It looks like I'm 2DPO now. Anyone want to be cycle buddies?

I dont think this cycle will be any good, I had a dream I took a preg test last night and it said NOT PREGNANT! ... Blahhh.. thats always a sign!

Ahh well.... How is everyone? all been busy?
My mums 40th tomorrow, cant wait.. I booked her a hot air ballon ride for it and im getting her cake tonight Wooo

Isn't it 12-48 hours not 36-48?

cherrie insemins sound perfectly timed to me! It's great you can get several insems in a cycle, I only get one from my current donor. Are you using the clearblue OPK? I think that's the one I want to try...with the smilie faces.

Stevi I don't know how you and others can wait to test! It drives me nuts I have no will power for that lol this is it for you!

AFM 10 DPO today didn't even bother testing, I'm in "Waiting for AF" now, Im sure she's on her way, had bad cramping this morning when I woke up for a while, but forgot to temp. Hopefully have more chance next cycle.

Hey, isn't cramping also a pregnancy symptom? I would count it as such if I had cramping 10DPO, but I never get AF cramping until after the blood shows up.

That's where I am in my cycle, too, CLH_X3. Part of me feels like I might get lucky, and part of me tells myself I'm crazy to think I would get pregnant the first month trying. But I don't think your dream should discourage you. There's no telling at this point (for most people)!

Bit gutted now, I just relised next month is aug, and aug is my one year mark, for some reason i didnt know it was aug next month i thought it was the one after, which makes me on my 11th cycle TTC not 10th....

CLH_X3, you're just a few days ahead of us, and I'm rooting for you! You can be our buddy, too, if you want. I know it's tough, but try to be optimistic. I'm picturing that egg burrowing into your happy uterus right about now.

P.S. SML27, regarding testing. . . I'm boring. No testing until 16DPO, I think.
