No but since it has a pic of Ralph Fiennes, I'm dying to read it now to see what the connection is!

I am close to finishing the book and have to say that it's a great read!! So much information!! I am a sugar addict and I have to say that this book made me eat way less sugar and carbs after I learned how bad those two are for you.

I liked it overall and thought it had a lot of worthwhile stuff to say. I did find the emphasis on beauty to be a bit over the top. Here's a good review.

I think this is a good review, the focus on beauty was a bit bizarre to me, too. But overall, I think it is a FABULOUS book to gift to someone who is on the edge of discovering that a lot of what we've been told about fats, oils, sugars and health is wrong and very misguided.

I enjoyed reading it and found that it put a lot of science behind a diet that I have always had and grew up with because it was my mothers diet, her mothers, etc. A lot of what I know about food has been passed down through generations and I've been having a lot of fun making my kids a part of cooking for our family, so it is nice to see some of the science behind what I will raise them with.

The things like margarine, pasteurized milk, whole fresh foods, fermenting, etc have always been "no brainers" to me....but it is cool to be able to share with people the exact science behind WHY eating a more traditional diet is better for you.
