Cucumbers with no cucumbers?

Is that possible?
My cucumber vine is huge! It's crawling up the trellis and around the tomato in my little garden.

It has tons of yellow flowers but no fruit behind them. I wonder if it's just too early? I planted them Mem. day weekend and we live in zone 4.

it might be early or zone 4. i've only been getting cukes off my plants for the last week or so and i'm in zone 6. just had enough today to do my first batch of pickles.

For zone 4, it might be too early. But I've also had problems where my cukes flowered but never produced fruit. So wait, chances are you'll get fruit eventually.

So, just yesterday, I went out to poke around the garden and saw 3 cucumbers. They are long and skinny and they seem to be curvey! So I think I missed them because they almost look like the vine!

Thanks for your help

My plants always produce female flowers first, which doesn't help for fruit setting!

You can help your plants along by pollinating the female flowers with a male flower.
