Skullcap in labor?

This is mentioned in my Susun Weed book, has anyone tried it?

I took skullcap before going into hard labor with my second daughter. I had been up all night with weak, spaced out contractions (every 15-20min or so). They petered out to two an hour around day break and I needed to sleep, so I took some skullcap (and valerian too). I slept until early afternoon and when I woke up, no more contractions. I went to sleep for the night around 11 and woke up around 3am to my water breaking and then labor began for real. Birth was 3hrs later.

So for me, it did what I wanted it to. Helped me sleep and recoup. No unwanted side effects. Hope that helps!
