CLO vs Fish Oil?

Can someone give me the low down? Our old ND had me on CLO, but we moved, and when I went in to the "natural" pharmacy (very respected) in our new town, the pharmacist was pretty anti-CLO and totally steared me towards the plain old fish oil. Although this wasn't his reasoning, I can see why CLO mightn't be the best thing just because it comes from the organ that filters all the crud out of a body. But, our ND was super pro-CLO, and I never thought to get his reasoning on it being better than plain fish oil, and I did notice a significant improvement in both allergy/asthma symptoms and my mental state after taking the CLO for awhile. This is stressing me out a little more than it might have back in the day, as I'm now making the decision for dd, myself *and* an unborn baby. Man, there's less stress when you're only making decisions for yourself, hey?
Help??!

Nobody, hunh?
Ok, could you tell me why you choose to take cod liver oil (or fish oil) over fish oil (or cod liver oil)? Even if you don't have any official stuies or evidence to support one or the other?
Thanks muchly.

CLO b/c it has the vitamin A and D to help the PUFA's (polyunsaturated fatty acids) from oxidizing in the body (creating free radicals). Blue Ice or Radiant Life. Twinlab maybe, need to verify again they do not have chemical forms of A and D since reportedly some processing of CLO has changed in this country.

The oil doesn't store the toxins and the CLO is tested for contaminants.

See lots of info here to address all your questions:
