Anyone else here have figure skaters? Where do you buy their skates?

My daughter has been doing figure skating for a few months now. She's gotten good pretty fast and now I'm at the point where I need to buy her her own skates. Other than play it again sports...does anyone know where to find some good, yet affordable ones online?

She's almost six and is a size 10, but I want to buy an 11 because she's almost out of the 10's anyways.

Anyone know a good brand? A good site?

Thanks

Check craigslist. You can find some good deals especially if people bought new and their child only used them for 1 season. May be worth it since her feet are still growing so quickly.

Your rink doesn't have them? When I did figure skating as a kid (granted, on wheels, not blades), our rink had a skate shop where we could buy clothes and accessories. They sold new and used skates. My parents bought me a used pair of boots and put new wheels on them.
