Tomato blight again! and squash leaves dying?

Last year we lost the whole garden to tomato blight and powdery mildew despite our best efforts. We trashed all plants with roots and grew a cover crop over winter. Then added compost before planting this year, rotated crops and mulched around the tomato plants. Now the blight is coming back close to full force. We are at the point where we can't keep up on picking the affected leaves off.
Please help! Any tricks to save the garden? I can not bear to lose it alll again this year.

On another note, we have several types of squash and all start off great every year with tons off blooms then only a few squash grow and the leaves start turning yellow and thern look like they are dying. The good news is there is no sign of powdery mildew this year. Any thoughts on this?

I bet you would get more feedback if you could provide an area where you are.

This is a really weird year where I am. Everyone around me agrees that it's just wonky with stuff.

As far as I know with blight, you won't be saving those plants by trimming leaves. Blight is pretty devastating in general. I'm having my first viral issue this year with my toms as I have WILT. Ugh. Not sure which is worst, wilt or blight! Both pretty much mean we won't be harvesting the crops which are affected.

I'm not sure what I'll do differently this year. I need to spend some time researching how to make it better next year. This is after 15+ years of gardening. I'm no newbie. It's a constant process and learning experience and this year is a gigantic BANNER OF A DAMN YEAR of that for me. Very humbling. To say the least.
