Last night I couldn't take anymore....
DD got up at 3:30 for the potty and a little water to fall back to sleep (she's our foster/adopted daughter and still takes a bottle for sleepy-ness).
So she did, that's totally normal. But she finished the bit of water and then wanted to potty again. We go back to bed. And she claims she has to potty again. Not really- she just wanted to play. So we finally lay down and she starts kicking me and at one point pulled my hair. So by 4:30 I had enough. DH's alarm had already gone off (so I don't have to worry about disturbing him). I laid her down and walked to the other bedroom.
She was mad. She wasn't crying to be sad, it was more of the, "I'm mad at you, don't leave when I'm mad!".
I turned on the monitor to make sure she wasn't sad or distressed, and went to sleep. She was messing around in there until 5:00 or 5:30.
But she went to sleep and woke up fine and dandy at 7:15.
I kind of feel bad, but I have to sleep at some point! I'm 4.5 months pregnant and she doesn't want to go to bed until 9:30.
Oh and it's not a crib she's in, she's in a queen size bed in the spare room. So if she really wanted me, she could get down and find me.
Any suggestions on helping my little booger head sleep?
