She's in the finale of season 2.
Not to split hairs or anything, but Sookie and Jason's grandfather is half fae so technically it makes them 1/8.

Thanks for the correction! As I wrote I was think that 1/4 didn't sound right as I thought it was less than that. I've just re-read books 2 and 3 (and 10) so those are fresher in my mind but the others I read a while ago so I'm remembering stuff wrong.

Wasnt Charlaine in an epi of season 2? Like the first one or something? Reminds me of the writer for Twlight being in the first one of those movies too.
Jason does end up a were panther. But why was Maryann able to get him all black eyed, but not Sookie. I assumed it was the fairy aspect until Jason went over to the darkside too.

I just realized last night that they've shown the queen, but there's no Andre. In the books, she makes it seem like they're inseperable, so I wonder if he'll show up at all.

And no Seigbert and Weybert (sp?)! In the books keeping her children close was Sophie-Ann's special gift.
Must be no Andre, Seigbert or Waybert because the previews for next week make it look like vamps are able to get to Sophie Anne and do her harm. The "Berts" were cool.

Maybe they're going to kill the queen and put someone else in charge. That would be fine with me.

Still missing Bubba...

Maybe they'll speed up the Nevada vamps takeover. The queen can go as far as I'm concerned!

After this week's episode I am really wondering how Lorena will meet her demise - if she does - which I hope so! I am done with that character! I wonder if it will be Sookie like in the books?

Ok I've finally watched most of season 3. Isn't Jesus Velazquez the name of one of the Dallas vampires in the books?
I think one of the Dallas vamps was named Joseph Valesquez.

Oh maybe that's what it was! The name just totally rang a bell for me.

I think it will be. I watched the preview of the rest of season 3 again and it looks like Lorena falls on her just like in the book. I am betting that is where it happens. I hope they keep it where Sookie kills her. She deserves to be able to stake her

I really enjoyed this episode. I have a feeling that Sookie is going to stale Lorena and that they were just setting it up to be that much more dramatic.

Hi Everyone! I just finished book 3 last night, and am already 1/3 way through book 4! Sookie has got to stake Lorena in the show, it's such an important moment, I'll be pissed if they don't write it in!

Where did you find it? That is what they showed after the premier of this epi, but after the ON Demand episode, they are only showing the previews for the next epi. I want to see that season 3 preview again!!!! Bill standing in the sun makes me go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

And if I remember correctly, that is bill laying on top of sookie. I was thinking they were going to follow suit with the book in a way, where bill, completly unconscience and only instinctivly trying to bring himself back to life, feeds from her ravenessly, to the point where it almost kills her. I also think he takes on so much of her special blood, he can somehow go out in the sun. We'll see how right i am.

Ooohhh! I bet you are right. I hadn't even thought of that. I can't wait for Sunday!

Dh and I watched episode 6 last night and he kept asking about why things were happening and what would happen next. But it's so so different from the books. I'm not real disappointed that Sookie doesn't get staked in the show at least.

I think that scene when Bill's in the sun is dream while he's out of it after Lorena's done with him. Just my guess.

That preview was awesome!! The only thing right now that makes me question if Sookie actually stakes Lorena is that Tara and Alcide are there, too. In the books she was alone. Not that I think Tara would/could do it but maybe Alcide.

I also watched the whole Comic-con panel (it's on youtube - search comic-con 2010 true blood and it's in 5 parts if you want to see it) which had some good moments in it. Alan Ball was talking in a round about way about season 4 and from what he said it does sound like they'll do the amnesia storyline. I don't know how they *couldn't* since it's such a huge part of the story but yay!! I was happy to hear him say it.

Ohh, that's so exciting about the amnesia storyline. That means we get to see lots of Eric mmmmm.

Did anyone notice that when the queen called for Hadley Russell said "don't worry you human is safe."? I wonder if they are going to turn her or just leave her human. I'm also wondering if they are going to make her a mother or not.

The amnesia part was one of my favorite things in the books.

I read the synposis for the August episodes and one, it says Hadley introduces Sookie to a new member of the family. I can't imagine who else that would be except Hunter.
I had wondered if Hadley was (still) human or not so that line answered that question. When I read the summary about Hadley introducing Sookie to a member of the family I immediately assumed it was Hunter but now I am thinking maybe Claudine. But that is really different if Hadley knows Claudine. But her also having contact with Hunter would be different, too. Or I guess in the books she only lost contact with Hunter once she was turned? We just didn't see all that.
