Hey Everyone,
I am a new to posting on MDC or any other site for that matter. Right now DH and I are 30 weeks along with our second DS. Our first pregnancy was delightful until 36 weeks when I developed Cholestasis and my natural birth plan changed dramatically. After a 21 hour induced, but still pain drug free, labor I delivered my first son. A lot changed from my birth plan and I wont allow for that to happen this time around. I blame a lot on my ignorance and this time I am educating my self beyond preparedness.
I am here to learn as much as possible on my options should I be Strep B positive, or have Cholestasis again.
DH and I can not afford a doula in LA with costs of $600 and more. If any of you are Doulas in Los Angeles that are available in September and charge less than that, I would love to have you contact me. I am delivering at UCLA Westwood with the midwives.
Thank you for reading,
Delightfully Neurotic Mama
