Ok so super personal. and a bit embarrassing.....

So I'm pregnant..which means my nipples are more sensitive.

I've had...I don't know a PC way to say this, full out orgasms while breastfeeding DS lately. Defiantly never happened before.

I know its suppose to feel good or whatever, I don't know how comfortable I am with this level of 'good.'

I guess what do you think? have you ever? and is this 'ok? I'm not turning into a perv or something....

I think it's a physical response and not a psychological response. No, I don't think you're a pervert. Yes, I think you're lucky.

It's more common than you think. I went to a conference and an LC presented on this. It is not perverted at all.

I've never orgasmed, but I DO feel a pretty nice sensation... I could totally see it leading to an orgasm if I were capable through my nipples and if I weren't nursing a toddler who likes to pull around hehe

Personally, I think I'd feel really weird actually orgasming but I don't think it is a bad or perverted thing. I think its just a matter of determining your own level of comfort. Is it worth feeling strange orgasming with your child in your arms so he can continue to nurse? Or would you have more peace of mind weaning and not dealing with it anymore? Could you become okay with the sensation and able to separate the physical feeling and psychological enjoyment you'd have were it your husband?

For me, I like feeling that good sensation while I nurse. On one hand, it doesn't hurt and we have a good latch and a good relationship and on the other, it'll be even more amazing when I'm alone with my husband. I've never had sensitive nipples so I'm perfectly happy feeling a sensation I didn't expect with a child because with her, its just nourishing her and LATER... well it'll be fun I can separate it. It's okay if you can't.. and its okay if you can and continue to orgasm

I've never experienced that...but it's totally normal. Similiar to the contractions you feel when nursing a newborn but lucky you they don't hurt!

Don't worry too much about it...just try to recognize the physiological response that's happening and don't dwell on any negative psychological feelings.

I'm guessing depending on the age of your child it's up to you if you want to wean or not...I would if it's making you really uncomfortable...better to wean a toddler than have anxiety or worry about anything while nursing.

For me I had to wean my 2 year old during my past pregnancy because it hurt horribly to nurse while pregnant!!! Sensitive nipples in the other direction...I don't even want them touched while pregnant or nursing by my husband. Clothes even feel wrong.

And also I'm guessing in your case it may even be some sort of prelabor response depending on how far along you are! just guessing?
