I am trying to make an appointment with Dr. Dryden at Women's Specialists of Houston. She is only taking new patients by referral of existing patients. Does anyone here go to her?

Good luck! Even with a referral I couldn't get in two years ago. I went with another in in that group, Dr. Zepeda. I was against seeing a male but thought maybe if I got into their practice I could switch. Ended up having a m/c before DD and Zepeda was very compassionate so we stuck with him. I ended up delivering with one of the midwives because none of the doctors could get to me in time but have no doubt Zepeda would have also allowed me to have an all natural birth. My friend saw him also and even with high blood pressure and some other complications (along with significant obesity like myself) she was never even talked to about induction or any interventions. After a few hours of labor she actually for an epidural but didn't have a line at that time...

Thanks for the reply. I haven't had any luck getting a referral. I am giong to see my RE today and ask him for one but I doubt he'll do it. His practice is associated with a big OB practice at Woman's. We'll see. If not, I'm going with Zepeda. Thanks for the info.

Hello-

I also need a referral from one of Dr. Dryden's patients.  Please send me a personal message (PM).

Thanks!
