I miss bras.

I love all the perks about breastfeeding... But I miss nice bras. I wear a sports bra because I find it more convenient than a nursing bra. But man. So not flattering.
I've tried wearing regular ones but they're never comfortable, what with the changing breast size and all. And they don't accomodate a nursing pad. Plus I think they gave me mastitis.

So in summation. Yay breastfeeding. Boo unsexy bras.

I just convert bras I like to nursing bras. Takes like 5 minutes.

I just wore regular, non-formed cup bras. I popped my breast out the top of the bra. It did wear them out faster than usual, but I didn't care. My boobs looked normal and I was comfortable.

Me too! not mention, I miss bras that cost less than an arm an a leg! as a 40G or 42 . . .I can't remember, I cann't spend less than $40, sometimes $50 on a decent nursing bra! I was a DD . . . that was so much easier!

Ooh, how do you do that?

I miss nice bras too. I was just looking at all the lovely new things in my favourite online lingerie shop the other day and mourning the fact that I couldn't get any of them

This doesn't work for me because a) I still have the problem with cup sizes changing throughout the day, plus my one side is smaller than the other already, so if that's the side I nursed on, i get an underwire poking me in the middle of my chest.
Plus the changing cup sizes has really warped the cups. It's just rediculous.
and b) if you cram a nursing pad in there, it makes the bra pull outwards so either you can see the ridge at the top, or it's not sitting properly against my body. Pretty uncomfy.

Sometimes I'm tempted to wean just because I'm so sick of the stupid sports bras. But I know neither of us are ready for that yet.

Me too. I've yet to find a nurising bra that holds my E's up the way I want.
Using regular bras and taking my boob out over the cup is uncomfy.
I suppose I should try the conversion thing.

My boobs aren't even really big enough to go over the top unless I'm wearing a tank top and my strap can come down.

Have you tried Bravado's bras? they are pricey ($30-50) but look normal with or without a top, and they even have a pretty lace one(!), and they accommodate fluctuating cup sizes.

I just wear regular bras and after a few weeks stopped using nursing pads. I have 1 nursing bra that I wear on occasion and I never do the hooks

Yup...nursing tanks just make you saggy when you are a G+ cup. I spent a fortune on some nursing bras only to find that due to one breast being so much larger (and oddly, producing less milk) it ended up being too constricting and reduced my pumping output. Unfortunately, I only found this out after wearing them for a few days so they couldn't be returned. Hopefully I can figure out a way to use them as regular bras when we stop nursing at some point. Although, I really do not want to stay this large.

Anyone else get heat rash this time of year in a sportsbra/nursing tank? I had forgotten how irritating it is.
