Beverly Hills 90210

To my surprise is there a new version of 90210 around. I haven't seen any but some one told me they have seen a 90210 with apparently a new cast of young people. I don't know it might be a re-run or something.

It's on it's 2nd or 3rd season. Jennie Garth is (or was) on as the school counselor and Shannon Daugherty was a guest for a few weeks. Erin Silver (Kelly and David's half sister) is a character in high school. That's about the only connection that I remember. I watched the first half season or so and didn't really get into it. Not as good as the original, IMO, seems to be a bit more like Melrose Place was in the day. There's a new Melrose, also, unless it's already been canceled.

90210 (new show title) is going into it's 3rd season this fall. Kelly was in season 1&2 but i heard she is all done now. Brenda, Donna and nat had cameos in season 1. no other cross overs at this point. it is more soapy than the original but some of the story lines are OK - but nothing can compare to the original :-) and yes, the new melrose place was canceled mid-season...

Melrose was canceled at the end of last season. It was pretty lame. The new 90210 is nothing like the old one (which I have taken up watching on SoapNet this summer). The old BH90210 was like a dramatic after school special. New 90210 is like a sex fest. Not to say that I don't enjoy it. I have it set on my DVR.

No kidding this I got to see. But why? The first 90210 was a classic back in the day. I guess producers are running out of ideas for shows.

I like it. I was a huge fan of the original. At least I was a fan of the Brenda years. This show has some good and bad things about it. I kind of hoped they would have Brenda and Dylan reunite. I'm glad Kelly is off of the show. I never got over her being with Dylan McKay. LOL
