Prenatal Yoga/Excersize

So my body is really not adapting as well to this pregnancy as it did with my DS1. Nothing terrible, I am just a lot more achy, and I have been tiring out a lot easier. I have never been an excersizer, other than a little bit of walking, and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on things I can do to help my body feel better. Is there a type of Yoga I can do? Maybe a DVD I can buy or a favorite Youtube yoga video anyone can recommend?

Any other advice is appreciated! Oh, and I am up about 10 lbs from where I was with DS's pregnancy, so that could be part of it.. and the fact that I'm chasing around an almost 2 year old. I am short (5'1") and average weight.. And I tend to grow big babies. Thanks so much mamas!

I have been having a lot of achiness in my second pregnancy, too, and am feeling very different than when I was pregnant with my son. I have several exercise videos for pregnancy, but Shiva Rea's Prenatal Yoga http://www.amazon.com/Prenatal-Yoga-...6&sr=8-1-fkmr0 has been the one most helpful for the achiness/pains. I don't know that I'd really call it exercise, it's mostly gentle yoga and stretching, but I feel a lot better for a day or two after I do it, and it's very relaxing to do right before bed.

I feel the same way... but 2 weeks ago I started going to prenatal water aerobics classes at the community center and I feel SO much better. Just being in the water- its so much easier on your joints than other exercise and you feel sooo good afterwards.

If there is not prenatal aqua in your area, maybe just go to a regular water aerobics class and ask how you can modify? From what I've found, they're not much different.
