RRL tea

Can you "over do it" with RRL tea?

I am 41w 1d pregnant and have sporadically drank RRL tea through my pregnancy, but have not kept up with it recently. I am starting back drinking it (maybe too little too late) and was just wondering if I can over do it. I plan on drinking a stronger hot version once in labor, but am wondering if I can drink more than just a couple cups a day right now or if that's a bad idea.

TIA for replies.

I don't think you can overdue it with RRL tea. And as far along as you are, even if it helped induce labor, that wouldn't be a bad thing right? I'm sure the mamas in the other thread will be helpful.

i don't think so.
I drank alot of RRL, even though I was due in JULY with my last - I let 3 bags steep in a big pot for a while until it was room temp and drank one pot every day for the last month at least... the day I went into labor, I drank 2 pots - the last being while I was contracting and wasn't sure if it was real labor. My contractions were strong, I felt my baby moving down with each one, and he was in my arms just a few hours later. I swear, my uterus was the most toned part of my whole body. My body felt so more efficient than with my first labor, which ended up being augmented with pitocin (due to "failure to progress" by a impatient OB - now I see a MW).

I will start drinking RRL in my 3rd trimester - a nice pot with 3 bags.
Good luck!
