Vitex for crazy hormones?

I had a m/c 4 weeks ago, had a D & E after I passed the baby. My cycle came back immediately. I'd only had a few cycles when I got pregnant because I was nursing my 2 yo but I weaned her during the time I conceived. I expected this cycle to be wonky, but the hormonal up and down was more than I can handle. I ovulated and of course was a maniac and then a week later the PMS hit and it was BAD to say the least. It lasted a full week then I barely bled because of the prior D & E (I'm guessing there was little lining.) So now this roller coaster is starting all over again, I can already feel myself ramping up to O. Got suggestions on how I can level out a bit? I was thinking vitex, I usually do that after my babies are born when I have the blues, but since I'm not nursing my options are a little more open. In the past, I've suffered from severe endometriosis and am hoping that doesn't show it's ugly head this time around. It's been 4 years since I had a normal cycle that I wasn't either using an IUD or nursing so I don't know how things are going to shape up. Thanks for your suggestions and I hope I posted this in the right place.

So sorry to hear about the baby you lost. I lost one in June 2 years ago. It's so hard! I used Vitex to help normalize my cycles after I lost my baby. Took it one dropperful 2x daily. I also took a lot of motherwort and lavender and cammomile to help even out my emotions. Try and rest as much as possible and be gentle with yourself. Oh, I also took a lot of nettle and red rasberry leaf and red clover as infusions to help build up my strength during that time. I hope some these ideas will help you. Sending you lots of good wishes. I have four little girls, too : )
