multi vit. that makes you itchy?

Anyone hear of a multi-vitamin making your whole body itchy (no hives or anything, just your skin and scalp feeling itchy).
My friend was asking me, here is the link to the one she is taking.
I assumed it meant she is sensitive/alergic to an ingredient, but don't know what to offer her beyond that.
Should it not be taken?
Are there more common/logical ingredients that she might be alergic to?
Are there other explanations to this?

thanks for the thoughts!

She's sensitive to one or more ingredients in it. It could be anything. I am sensitive to lanolin (from wool) that's used for vitamin D and pectin and citrus (bioflavonoids) and the pine cellulose often found in multivitamins. It could also be in the flavoring, if there is any. Could be soy (source of vitamin E). If it's a "whole food" type of vitamin, it could be any of the foods they use for that. Some vitamins have a bunch of herbs in them...could be that. She should find another vitamin of a different brand, with different ingredients in it. Look at the "other ingredients" as well as the actives. Is she allergic or sensitive to any foods or topical stuff, or environmental things, that she knows of?

As for myself, I haven't found a single multiple vitamin I can take. However, I've been able to cobble together some different individual supplements that seem to agree with me, so that's another option if she can't find a multi that works.

OMG, I just checked out the link to the vitamin she's taking - there's so much in there to be allergic to, I can't even begin to tell you all the things she could be allergic to. There's also some herbs too. May I suggest a non-whole-foods based vitamin, one that doesn't include herbs? There are plenty to choose from.
