Going to be induced in the morning!

Those of you who pray, please do so on my behalf! I'm feeling nervous...

I'm going in to the hospital to be induced in the morning. It's really not what I wanted... but it looks like that's the way things are working out. I was REALLY hoping to birth @ a birth center with my MW! I've had 4 previous hosp births, and they weren't great experiences for me.

I'm 41w+3, with GDM & after seeing the latest US, my MW thought the baby was getting too big to be comfortable with me birthing at the center, so she has transferred me out. There will be a MW @ the hosp, but I've never met her.

Please pray for a healthy, smooth & UNcomplicated delivery! Thank you so much!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all so much for your prayers, support & good "vibes"!

I'm happy to report that we had a good delivery @ the hospital. When I got there, I was already 4.5cm! (Yay!) This got me excited and eased my mind a little. The MW @ the hosp was able to "prick" my bag of waters @ 8am (it was a little too far back to get to easily, I guess)... but it was enough to send me in to labor! (Yay!)

After about 4 good "pushes", Baby was born @ 3pm, 9.5 lbs.-- healthy, beautiful baby boy! We're home now & adjusting well.

Yay! Great news! So happy to hear your birth went well and you're well in postpartum adjustment. Your baby sounds so lovely and plump! Big fella! Congratulations, take good care of yourself.
