My Grandma Passed Away Yesterday.

She had been so sad since my Grandpa died in December 2006. They had been married for almost 60 years and she missed him terribly. Last summer she had surgery on her knee and afterward she got an infection and almost died. She was doing bad for a while then got a little better then worse again. She had emphysema as well.

I just happened to stop by my parents house yesterday and when I got there I found out about Grandma.

I am really sad but also glad for the closure. My parents have been very stressed out about Grandma since Papa's death and this past year has been very hard on them. She was very confused and slept a lot and just wasted away slowly it was very hard to watch.

My Grandma is where she wants to be now, with Papa and for that I am grateful. I miss them.

My husband just came home and told me a really good friend of ours has had a motorcycle accident and he is paralyzed from the waist down. He may never walk again.
