Nightmares

Anyone else having nightmares?

I never get them and it seems ever since (and just before) I got my BFP I've been having vivid nightmares. Almost all involve terrible things with my son. Namely him just being dead, not breathing or lost. Last night was so horrible I woke up with my heart pounding so relieved to see him sleeping next to me. I don't know what I would do if we didn't co sleep. I must have checked his breathing over 10-15 times last night.

Is this normal? Am I missing some nutrient?

It's either normal or I'm missing said nutrient as well! All my dreams are VERY vivid and realistic. It makes for a very restless night.

very normal... we have all sorts of dreams, one sort is where our mind acts out our anxieties to try to help us come to grips with it... def. sounds like what yours is doing now.

I just have plain WEIRD dreams. Last night I dreamed that I was trying to get a man arrested for bringing his tiny dog (and im talking tinier than a newborn chihuahua, TINY dog) into a grocery store when it was not a seeing eye dog.

Weird right?! lol

When PG with DS I constantly dreamed of war (this was just before the war in Iraq started) and with DD I dreamed weird dreams like I am now.

i've been having crazy vivid dreams too. some nightmares, some not. everynight!

It's normal! I have had all kinds of bizarre dreams, and a lot of them have been nightmares about weird, disturbing things happening to my older child or people hiding her and me not being able to find her.

Yes! I have had disturbing dreams. None relate directly to my baby, thank goodness. But I have had several dreams about wanting to leave my husband to get back together with ex-boyfriends (which could not be further from my desire). I talked to a friend who is pregnant and she is having similar dreams. I've also dreamed that a friend was killed in a car accident. Ugh. It's hard enough to sleep comfortably with a baby belly, but even worse when you have vivid disturbing dreams!
