Favorite foods to pack for trips and hotels

We are going on a trip to cedar point at the end of next month. We will have a microwave and small fridge in our room. I'm trying to think up some creative things we can bring/make to eat instead of just sandwiches, wraps and salads. Breakfast, I'm fine with just yogurt, oatmeal, nuts, and a fruit and no one else is too big on breakfast. I'll probably make some muffins to bring along to snack on, do some veggies with dip, cut up fruit, cheese, etc.

Anyone have any creative ideas for lunches, and dinner?

Honestly, I go for easy over creative when we're travelling. We've been on a couple of trips in the past few weeks. We've had yogurt, cereal, and eggs for breakfast, sandwiches, apples, cheese, raisins and nuts for lunches/snacks, and grilled meat with fresh veggies (mostly carrots) for supper. Oh, and we usually have smores when we're camping
