Good news: I found some very useful information today on oversupply and overactive let-down.

Am I making too much milk?

I also found this article on foremilk/hindmilk helpful.

DD is 4.5 months and I still leak. Not as much, but pads are a must.
I also spray sometimes at feedings. DD doesn't mind like she did earlier on, but I have to be careful of getting milk everywhere.

I do t leak all that much but I let down on both sides so I have to wear nursing pads all the time. Bleck. But when the chi,d weans it goes away.

Almost 8 months here and still leaking.

I stopped caring about wet shirts in public a few months ago- yeah, my breasts are producing milk, what of it? I found disposable pads to be really irritating, and cloth ones simply didn't work.

Sorry, momma. Maybe we should start a Wet T-Shirt Tribe?

So funny. I joke with my Huz that my boobs are yelling "there's a hungry baby here! we can tell!" Because they seem to know better than I do. For the first six months they would let down if I heard a baby on TV.

I stopped leaking and was able to go nursing-padless when ds was 3.5... YEARS old! (He self-weaned shortly after he turned 4.) I hope that is not discouraging!

I will say though I would take a bottle and catch much of the let down and freeze to add to my supply stock. In the beginning I was catching about 2oz
I *wish* I had done that. I almost bought one of these http://www.mymilkies.com/milksaver but kept talking myself out of it, because "I can't possibly keep leaking for much longer". It finally stopped around 10 months with ds3. And nearly every week I thought I should have bought one of those things. Both ds1 & 2 it was around 2 months.
