Have you ever encountered a challenge where you spun your wheels and thought and worried, and reasoned, and could not come up with a solution? Or only came up with band-aid fixes? That's because the part of the brain that we are using is only good at mundane tasks like remembering where we live, what things are called, doing math, etc. The part of you that has the solution for everything is not your mind but your intuition. Intuition is a very still part of you and me. It doesn't take any effort to use, but some practice to tap it.

OK, some very simple solutions are contained in your mind, but when they are, you'll know it b/c it will give you the answer right away. When you start to effort, then you know your mind doesn't have the answer and you have to stop beating yourself up for not having it.

Very interesting! I've also found that when I'm spinning my wheels and I'm agitated and can't figure out a situation it's because I'm afraid and in denial. It's hard to find the answer when you don't know what the problem is.

When I find myself all keyed up and at a loss as to what to do I push myself to wonder what I'm avoiding. Or, I try to remind myself to do that.
