So we recently learned that our community well upped the amount of chlorine in the water. I hadn't even known they put chlorine in wells to begin with, and I'm not happy about it. Out little PUR filter isn't cutting it.
I'm researching water filtering systems on a tight budget. There were several recommended to me, but they use activated alumina to filter out the chlorine and fluoride. That makes me nervous, because I don't have such a high opinion of aluminum going anywhere in our bodies (vaccine-damaged child.) Of course, I realize aluminum exists in several forms but I am unsure which could be harmful. Anyone have knowledge on this?
