I have a question and this may be stupid but I am truely confused.. I made a wrap just basic moby style thing and wrapped it up fine.. Now maybe my problem is that i'm prego and it'll be fine once this babe gets here but I can't for the life of me figure out how the baby actually goes in the thing.. I did the front cross wrap and put one of my dd baby dolls in which is acutally about the right size for a one month old and its uncomfortable for me (feels like my boobs are being smashed or looks like it'd be too tight in there for the baby. The wrap is a medium weight cotton knit with a bit of a stretch.. there may be a small percentage of spandex in there (like 2% or something)..

Is it just getting used to it? Am I positioning baby wrong? or is it just because i'm pregnant still and having him will actually make more room in there?

I used a sling with DD and she hated being confined so i have the two from her though they're both the pocket slings and i thought i'd like a wrap better but not so far.. next attempt will be a ring sling i guess.

When I first put on a Moby wrap, I thought there was no way that any baby could fit in there! In fact, I had to have my friend take my DD and put her in the Moby while she was wearing it to understand it, lol
The doll is probably wouldn't work to replicate how it would be in a Moby because they don't have the weight a baby does.
When you use the Moby, you tie it on so tight because the baby stretches out the fabric as you wear her and it might seem really tight getting her in but then she just kind of settles down into it.
I was afraid of hurting her and my friend said, hey, she just got squeezed pretty tightly to be born, she'll be fine getting in the wrap!
Once I got the hang of it, I loved the Moby!
