DD has started crying in her sleep regularly the last few days. When it started I thought it was gas (it might be sometimes she cries till awake and will be straight as a board till she farts) but somehow it seems it's just some sort of new thing she's doing! Tonight we are trying to sleep with her in my arms while I am sitting on the couch so I can catch the cries faster and hopefully get some more sleep- she's woken (sort of )already about every 30 minutes and I can easily calm her back to sleep but I'd like to sleep, too!
Is this a developmental thing or should I be more concerned? Any hints? I had been sleeping in bed with her in one of those close and secure sleepers- I do have daytime naps with her in my arms but when I am tired at night I am a bit scared to do that. She was sleeping 2-3 hours at a time, up to three times in a row, for almost 3 weeks before this weird behaviour (and also gassiness) started.
Crying again, better go!
