Jason products

I use some Jason products and well, I bought some new hand soap with Tee Trea oil in it.. I washed my hands and it gave them a weird feeling... I looked at the back list of ingedients and I saw triclson? spelling... the antibiotic I think it is?

anyone eles see this in Jason products?

Well, I returned the soap...
I always forget to watch stuff at Whole Foods. I think bc I'm there that I do NOT need to look at the lables... WORNG!

I hadn't noticed that, but I don't buy their soaps...

I was using their deodorants occasionally, but the last two I bought were hard as a rock and unusable?
I'm not sure what happened?
They used to be nicer?

I am assuming it is a bad batch adn not a new recipe?

I do like some of their products and find them to be very affordable.

Unfortunately you still have to look at labels at Whole Foods Market.

I learned my lesson after I came home with their store brand shampoo only to find that it had Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it.

and shortly after I started washing my hair with baking soda and ac vinegar, so that is one less list of ingredients I have to deal with.

Hmmm I sometimes use Jason hair products, in fact I just started using their dandruff shampoo. I have always liked their products but I admit I don't understand all of the ingredients. So I'll check the label for the thing you mentioned - you say this is an antibiotic? Weird!

yes it is called

Triclosan, Ilooked it up in my Linda Page's Healthy Healing book page 435

Triclosan is a "A new study published in journal Nature finds that Triclosan a widely used antibacterial household chemical, can cause certin bacteria to mutate into new stains resistant to treatment" yucky

so I am still thinking it's a antibiotic...I like Jason stuff too, not bashin them at all, but I really need to remember to LOOK at the back of stuff!:

I use the Jason toothpaste but thats it........

dont you hate when that happens? I bought a new soap tonight, a liquid cause dh hates bar soap at the sink......anyhoo...I was in a rush and read the front and didnt really examine the ingredients and icky, it has that in it too.

I just read the label on my favorite Jason lotion and saw that it has all kinds of things I'm not down with.
