Cross Stitch Birth Announcement for Twins?

Hi all ~

My SIL traditionally makes cross stitched birth annoucements for all of the new babies in the family. She'd like to do a twin announcement for the babies my dp and I are expecting, but can't find a pattern. Any suggestions??

I don't know of a pattern but just a thought/suggestion...you might want to have two seperate cross-stiched annoucements instead of one combined one. I have the cross-stiched announcement that my grandmother made for me when I was born and I think it would be sad, had I been a twin, if my twin and I had to choose which one of us got to have the wonderful keepsake.

I like the idea of two of them, they can be placed in a double frame if you frame them. Or if they are to be pillows they could have a ribbon that bundles then as a pair at first, both options can be separated to give to each later.
If you want each to mention the twin thing, maybe they could each say " Baby Name xlbs xozs and sister" or such.

I'm laughing because I remember how EXCITED my Oma was when I found out I was having twins because she's always wanted to this one particular twins x-stitch and had never gotten the chance.

I'm not sure where she found the pattern, but it says TWINS: Like two peas in a pod, two gifts from God. It has two baby faces in a pea pod. Plus names, dates, weights, etc.
