My midwife just informed me that her pro grade pool has a hole in the seam (un-repairable) and she's ordered one but they're out of stock so it might not get here before I'm due.
So I'm looking into possibly buying a birth pool. I have the little kid's aquarium one but didn't use it last time because I just want something deeper and more sturdy on the sides.
Last time I used this one (La Bassine).
I'm also looking at this one, though. (Aquaborn Eco)
They are very similar in the air chamber (being supportive and deep - liked this). There are some differences. What are your thoughts? It's like a $40 difference. I think there are more features on the green pool. It has a lid too - wondering if this is for before and after labor/birth in case of little ones in the room?
I'd think about renting a birth pool but not sure where or from whom I'd rent one. I suppose I can ask my midwife or call a nearby birth center.
