I had bought the diva cup a few years ago, and tried it unsuccessfully on a few occasions. Awhile ago I stumbled upon the tip to cut off the stem, that seemed to be a main problem for me. After doing that, I saw the various folding techniques and have figured out how to get a good seal and easily twirl it into place. This has been my first full cycle using it, and it is seriously like not having my period at all!! No leaking, no mess. I wish I would've taken more effort to figure this out sooner. I have already stored away all of my other 'supplies', this is soo much simpler!

I have a IUD so I am kinda worried about that aspect and hate tampons, as in won't use them so worry I will hate it but I really want to try one. Do you have to have really good muscle tone down there to keep it in? ./l
I just bit the bullet and ordered one, I found one for 28.01 including shipping! I am super excited lol.

Katie, I don't think muscle tone has much to do with it. More muscle would more likely have you trying to expel it. I know when I have heavy days sometimes my cervix dilates a little(can tell with cramping) and then my body tries to get rid of the foreign object.
But realistically muscle tone shouldn't worry you from trying it.
