I do have you down, right? You're under "JSMa", not Phoenix~Mama...which is confusing the heck out of me because I thought we had a JSMa under that username... JSMa is what was listed when I took over the thread.

I think she changed her username... (I did this in the very early days of this pregnancy after I found a board was snarking on my miscarriage), she's going through a divorce and I bet she changed it for that reason. Of course, I'm purely speculating so feel free to correct me, Phoenix~Mama!!

Newbie here!

Hello! I am brand new to this forum, hope it's ok for me to post.
EDD - November 28th
Name - batlvr
Age - 36
Location - MD
How long? Well, we were "not preventing" for about 18 months before the BFP!
This is my second child, I have a 15 y o DS. I am married to an awesome biker dude.
It's a GIRL! We like the name Sadie Carroll (her middle name will be in honor of my hubby's late grandfather).
Originally planned a VBAC but it is looking more and more like a repeat c-section.
Thanks!

Welcome batlvr

I to am dealing with the realization that my upcoming birth probably is not going to go exactly the way I had wanted and dreamed it would. So jump on in, you will find us all very supportive and many of us very empathetic with your situation.

I've been very lazy about getting around to reposting my info to the new thread...sorry!

* EDD: According to OV date, Nov. 4, but Nov. 6 according to LMP...I'm trying to just tell most people the first week in Nov.
* Name: Lemon is fine
* Age: 29 (How did that happen so fast?)
* Location: Southern Illinois
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: only 1 cycle!
* What number child is this for you: Number 1
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Wonderful DH of 6 years, 3 loving but very naughty cats (2 yrs old) and one sweet rescue collie (7 yrs old)
* Baby's Sex (hopes or guesses): BOY!
* Names you like (& are willing to share): I've got a couple favorites, but I'm not telling.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: Hoping for a natural hospital birth attended by a CNM
* Anything else you'd like to share: I'm very new to the whole pregnancy and baby thing, but so far it has been great. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by and how soon this baby will be in my arms!

I somehow missed that we have a new Roll Call thread.
* EDD: Thanksgiving!
* Name: Karen
* Age: 41 - I'll be 42 at birth unless baby comes early.
* Location: Portland, OR
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: We had a missed miscarriage in Oct. (u/s showed baby had died ~3 weeks previous). Started trying again at the first of the the year, and conceived in early March.
* What number child is this for you: Number 2
* Family: music teacher DH, James, and 3.5 yo terror boy Chase
* Baby's Sex: GIRL!!! And we are amazingly excited about it
* Names you like: I have a name picked out, but DH isn't fully on board yet.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: We are having a home water birth with a pair of fabulous CPMs. I had pre-e with my son, and I am doing what I can to prevent a recurrence. If a pre-labor transfer becomes necessary, I'll return to the hospital CNM practice with which I had my son. that won't be necessary, though!

intro, kc939

EDD Nov 26 2010
kc, 27, austin tx
How long it took to you to get your BFP: 2-3 cycles seriously, ~9months less seriously before that, clearly the lack of intention didn't work out
What number child is this for you: first
Husband and two big doggie babies
Baby Boy to come
* Birth Plans/Preferences: Home birth with midwife planned.
I am also vegetarian and generally on the more "natural" side of things, for whatever that means

It's awful late, but I'm going to add myself to the thread!!

* EDD: 11/28
* Name: Monica
* Age: 33
* Location: Denver, CO
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: Well, since 3/09 I've had 5BFPs and 4 losses. It took a long time for us to get a pregnancy that lasted more than 8 weeks.
* What number child is this for you: Number 3
* Family: husband Tim, 2 children, Lilly and Carter.
* Baby's Sex: Girl. We are over the moon, really, though I'm getting sniffly about my boy being my only boy.
* Names you like: Elsa Clare. It's a done deal, too. Elsa is my husband's Nana's name and Clare is after my stepfather (Clarence) who passed away a few years ago.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: We will have a hospital birth and I will try to go natural. There's a good chance I'll be induced after 39 weeks as well, which I am fine with. After all of our losses, I'm not hung up on how this kid gets here, just THAT she gets here.

* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): My husband John, and we live within walking distance of my mom and dad.
* Baby's Sex (hopes or guesses): It's a boy. I wanted a girl SO BAD, but he wanted a boy and he won
