homemade bubble bath

I tried a recipe for homemade bubble bath using castille soap grated into warm water, glycerine, and essential oil. It came out horribly - was really thick and didn't bubble up in the tub.

does anyone have another recipe for bubble bath that avoids anything overly harsh?

I don't have any recipes, but have you tried California Baby's bubble baths? My DS with allergies and eczema does well with their sensitive line. No fragrance or chemicals, etc., in it.

yes!! we love love Calif babies bubble bath and that's what we use, but we're going broke bc it's expensive and we go through a bottle a month!! so I thought, ok, make it myself!!! what I might do is use calif. babies shampoo/wash and dilute it to make bubble bath...??
