Traveling and first time pumping question

My DH and I are going on a 4 hour road trip with our DS tmw and I am going to pump for the first time for the trip - And I'm wondering how do you heat up a bottle on the road to get it to the right temperature? For that matter how do you ever prepare a bottle when you're out? TIA!

I think you can buy a bottle warmer that plugs into your car or buy a car converter so you can plug a normal one in. Sounds like a lot of work?! I am assuming you want to feed him while driving instead of stopping?

Expressed milk will be fine at room temperature for four hours and shouldn't need to be refrigerated or heated. Does your little one know how to take a bottle?

The simplest solution is to pull over and nurse when you need to - that's what we always did on road trips.

We used to ask for a small coffee cup with boiling/hot water from some fast food places and put the bottle in that for a couple minutes. It would heat up fine. We always took prefilled/prenippled bottles with a cap so it was minimal work and minimal spillage risk. But at that time I was exclusively pumping, so it was not very different from out routine, just happened in the car instead of at home or daycare. If I may ask, how do you think pumping/bottlefeeding will make your car trip easier?

It goes a long way to calm a bored/sad/frustrated by the car seat baby too! (And to be honest, it helps me to center/calm after a spell of driving too!)
