This thread was set up for those of us who have really long cycles. No matter what the reason of your long cycles you are welcome here. It is hard to find other ladies that love to have the 2WW because it took them 3 months to get there. We are here to offer support and to listen to all your ranting. Please join our group and together we can get through the TTC without Oing together. If you would like to join just post Join Please in your title and add any information you would like next to your name like your chart or how many little ones you have. I hope we become a close family here.

Welcome Lauren!!

We are so glad to have you. All you have to do is post your url address and I can put it in a little chart thing if you like.

So how is your current cycle going?

Let me try that again- here's the link I think:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php

CD20, thought I o'd around day 17-18, but looks like that didn't happen. Had 2 almost positive OPKs on CD 15 & 16 (only half the line was dark, not the whole thing). With what seems to be watery CM today...maybe I geared up to O but didn't and then I'm gearing up again...we'll see!

I think this is the place for me b/c I find the TWW far more relaxing than waiting to O.

So, I'm TTC#2. I have a 14-month-old son. This is my 3rd cycle off of BCPs, and each time O comes later.

And here's my chart:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2e2172/

Currently, I'm CD30 and 5DPO. Hoping this is my cycle and I won't have to be in the wait to O again.

Hello ladies. Y'all already know who I am, since I've been around forever on the previous long cycle thread..

But to recap, I'm Erin, I'm 34, and I'm working on #2. I have a son who will be 3 next week.

I believe I have PCOS but it is undiagnosed. I have only O'ed 3 times since last November. Well, possibly 4, but I think I had a cycle where FF thought I O'ed but I did not. Anyway, 3 times out of 5 cycles, over a 9 month time period. Not very promising. Lately I have been considering joining the BSL thread too because I've been really bummed.

But here's my update. I took one of those FSH tests that is supposed to assess your ovarian reserve and FSH levels on day 3 of your cycle, and it came out really good!!! So, that gave me some hope.

You don't have to put anything beside my name except for TTC #2 and my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2b51ce I'm not sure if that's what you need to link my chart?

Best wishes to everybody!!!! I hope we see lots of BFPs around here soon. Thanks ZoeJanesMommy for starting this up.

I guess I don't belong here right now, but I'll be lurking. I have PCOS and have had cycles up to 133 days. But I am taking clomid right now, I got one 31 day cycle and am on my second cycle with it now.

It sounds like you belong to me. Being someone who naturally has long cycles you would be great support to us because you have experienced it also. I will be seeing a specialist on the 29th so my cycles I am sure will be dwindling also. If you would like to join we would love to have you. This thread really is for anybody we just get tired of all the short cycles and the girls complaining about how hard the 2WW is. I would give 100 bucks right now just to know when I am going to O.

Speaking of Oing I am so angry. I thought I had O'd before SweetBee but I still have not O'd on CD 30. I know alot of ladies don't O until like CD 90. But this SUCKS. Oh well I am just really looking forward to my appointment in 2 weeks. Ok that is my rant for the weekend. Thanks for listening.

Can I join please?

Thanks for making this thread ZoeJane! Well u already know most of my info but I'll post it here also. I'm 23 have one DD (2.5) and one DS (14 months) and had regular cycles before and after both. All of a sudden when Ds was about 4 months old my cycle got wonky (I had two normal 28 day cycles after he was born, PPAF caught me right away because we did not have a good BF relationship... Something I hope is Totally different next time, God wiling there is a next time.) anyway, since then i've had one 26 day cycle and then all the others have been long. Anywhere from 35-46 days long. The last 3 cycles have been 35, 38 and 37 respectively though so at least they're coming down a bit. This is my 7th cycle of not avoiding and my 4th cycle of hardcore ttc.

My chart: fertilityfriend.com/home/EricaRN (I think. Lol. Can't double check at the moment cuz I'm on my phone) well I think that's all I'm supposed to put. I know it could be worse for me and that I don't have the longest cycles out ther but I am having problems nonetheless. I know for a fact that 2 of the 7 cycles I didn't ovulate and it's extra upsetting coming from clockwork 28 day cycles to 35-46 day cycles. They've checked all my levels and everything looks perfect "better than perfect" according to the OBGYN... So they have no answers for me. Anyway, enough crying/whining about it. Lol. Have a good day ladies!

So how is everyone doing? I am now cd 31 and no sign of O yet. how about you?

Hey Ladies, I too am coming over from the other long cycle thread. I'm 27, TTC #1 since 9/09. I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 8 years ago, stopped BCPs in 8/09 when we got married. My last cycle was 74 days long, but I did O on day 60!

Now I'm on CD17 and just charting away (along with lots of BDing because I feel like my O date is like a needle in a haystack and I'd rather be safe than sorry!).

I also recently started a blog which is here: http://itsunfertility.wordpress.com/

I just absolutely love your name! It fits so perfectly, because were are fertile if we would stinkin O, but since we dont we are unfertle!!! So catchy and creative. I to have PCOS, I was diagnosed about 12 years ago. And then reconfirmed about 5 years ago. Has your doc started you on any meds yet?? I think I will get clomid soon.

Happy Monday everyone! Crazy temp drop for me this morning-CD24. Now I'm a 100% sure I didn't ovulate yet. Maybe today or tomorrow though! Guess DH and I will be keeping up with the BDing!

Thanks! It just popped into my head when I was trying to think of a name for my blog. I love it

As for meds, I'm not on anything yet. my nurse midwife and I have agreed that October is my "deadline" to get pregnant unassisted. She'll refer me to the RE no earlier than then, unless I have another cycle that is longer than 60days. So if this cycle is a long one, then I meet the RE and we'll take it from there. Right now we're at CD19 so CD60 wouldn't be until the end of August, but it's really just a waiting game anyways (isn't it always!?)

Lauren- we are doing the same thing here- hubby is NOT complaining.

Does anyone have any input on if room temerature has anything to do with waking temp? We've been having some seriously hot and humid weather here and are in a 3rd floor apartment. On the first day of a heatwave, my temp was uncharacteristically high (and was only CD4 or 5) and then the next morning (after buying an air conditioner and sleeping in a nice cool room) it was lower than it had ever been. I'm curious if anyone has experienced anything like this.

The room temperature seems to have little effect on my temps. We sleep with the window open and don't have air conditioning. Sometimes it rains and is cool, sometimes it's still hot from the day, but no real temp reading difference between those days.

But I think we are all different. Some people say the room temperature affects their readings. For you, it could also be normal early cycle fluctuations.

I'm 9DPO today. I don't have much to say, except the 2WW is the favorite part of my cycle. It's so chilled out compared to waiting to O. Not that I'm not analyzing my symptoms on a daily basis, but at least it's relaxing.
ItsUnfertility- I'd say room temp has little affect on my temps too...then again I keep the thermostat on a program so it never really fluctuates too much.

I can wake up hot and almost sweating for some reason (snuggling too close to DH?) but still have low temps. Or opposite, I can be cold when I wake up and have a high temp. Only thing that really seems to have an affect on my temps is a too many glasses of wine...that'll definitely shoot my temp up the next morning.

SweetBee- exciting, do you have a date in mind to test? Or just waiting it out a little longer?

I think I'll test about a week from now, if my temps stay up.

I haven't noticed any single nights where I could explain a temp by the room temp, but my average temperature is definitely higher (maybe about 0.2C) in the summer compared to the winter. We don't have AC, so the house temp is about 10C higher than it is in the winter.
