Chicken pox and guillaume-barre

My kids are getting somewhat to the age where we'll get chicken pox. My brother had guillaume-barre as a child, and I know at the time, chicken pox were deadly to him. He has never had them, is 23 now. The vaccine is live, so he has concerns about getting it, but of course at his age, chicken pox could be dangerous. I told him he needs to get titres checked (right?). He has a fear of doctors, and especially needles, so he's hesitant, but it would be good to know in case he comes in contact with my kids when they're contagious. WDYT?

Are you saying that chicken pox now would be dangerous due to having had GB or that you think chicken pox is just dangerous for adults?

Chicken pox is not inherently dangerous for adults, it is just more likely to be a more serious case.

I'm mainly concerned about what it could do to someone who has had GB.
