Looking for a postpartum doula in Dearborn

I have someone that is in desperate need of a postpartum doula. Her daughter is 4 weeks old and she is very much overwhelmed. I'm not able to help her, as I am over an hour away and have a 6 month old that is EBF myself. Please let me know if you know of someone that is in the area and can help her and I'll give you the contact info. Thanks!

I don't know of any postpartum doulas in the immediate area, unfortunately. I do live in Dearborn, however, and I would be happy to visit your friend and bring her a meal and help with any breastfeeding questions if that would be at all helpful. I'm somewhat limited with time since I have 4 young children of my own, so I wouldn't be able to offer the other kind of support that a doula would give. I do suggest that she consider joining the MOMS Club of Dearborn as well as the LLL group to build a good support system. Let me know if I can help...
