This may sound bad but don't trust the dr's. They ran tests and the LAB said it was normal and they blew her off. That's what most dr's do. YOU have to be her advocate. YOU have to figure out what's wrong with her or just let her die. No one else is going to help her. The dr's will do bare minimum. You are probably more likely to use the internet and order tests than your grandma and you should definately listen to these people here and either order your own tests or find an expert that will listen to you.

I can barely walk and all I got back from my last doctor was "normal continue meds and if still fatigued call back in a few weeks." Uh I've been fatigued for 10 years.. what's 2 weeks gonna do? Worthless. Your mom probably DID try and got no where. I've tried 100 times and when I tell people that they ignore me or don't believe me. it gets tiresome and then you turn to being quiet and giving up or wanting people to leave you alone.

You can order just about any type of blood poo urine saliva test online now a days. Your dad is a doctor! He married this woman and she should be one of his first responsibilities as your mother. She is his family forever. I am so dissapointed he has chosen not to care for her well being.

Shy-Draggers Syndrome....??

Has anyone heard of Shy-Draggers? My MIL's mother had
Shy-Draggers. Approx. 4 yrs ago, my mom was up here to visit (she actually was physically capable of taking a bus, heck 7 yrs ago she was driving). MIL said my mom had the same physical symptoms as her mom.

Babygirlie, I completely understand and agree with what you've said. My desire is to have my mom come up here and live. I would make every effort I possibly could to try to figure this out. The Mayo Clinic is in southern Minnesota (Rochester) and we are in northern minnesota. My plan would be to take her there. I certainly do feel that I should be doing more. Trust me, I have offered and suggested to my Grandmother to have my mom move up here.

Okay, I am going to call a lawyer. I can't wait to get her medical records. My feeling regarding my relatives is that they just don't have a clue. My younger sister is on this board, she lives in Michigan (about 4 hrs north of my mom) and I know she's very understanding of the urgency.

I fully agree that my dad, even though they are divorced, has a responsibility to my mom. I would think he would have some sort of "ability" to get her into the right places, considering he is a doctor. ish and self ETA: I may regret saying this, but IMO my dad is too self-centered to actually give a rip about my mom.

I understand that my mom's condition is not a vaxx injury. Genetic. She's missing one of the 13th chromosome, if i'm understanding this correctly. I do think there's a good possibility that vaxxes could exasperate the symptoms.
Perhaps i should post about this in a dif. forum. thank you everyone for any "insight" you've given, and I am still interested in hearing more if there's anything else you all have to say.....

Since this is no longer a vax-related question, I think maybe you'll get more responses in health and healing. I'll move this for you.

thanks. Shy Drager. Do you, or anyone else, know much about it?
