Sounds cool! I wish my DDs walker could be as awesome as your son's chair.

Here's a video. I was trying to get him to do a wheelie but he wouldn't.

He's already such a pro at using his chair... (and just.so.adorable!)

The chair looks fantastic!  I hope your kiddo is enjoying it.  What a cute idea with the stickers.  I had looked at wheel inserts previously and never cared for the designs since so many of them are aimed at adult wheelchair users. I do want to caution you on something be careful of the laterals if he is propelling.  It is possible for their little arms to get rubbed raw if they are constantly hitting the laterals while propelling.  Wow!  He is using the rims.   A little expert already.   Over a year later and we still can't get Alec to use the rims he insists on using the tires.  His PT says all her kids start out using the tires before using the rims but I have yet to see him show any interest in doing so.

mekat, when they put it together they put pneumatic tires on it just to see which worked better and he pushed on the tires on those. The tires he has are solid core and they don't have tread on them, so if he pushes from the tire his hands slip a lot. Plus he doesn't like the feeling of the road crud on his hands. So those things combined and it has him religiously using the rims.

congrats to him! He is so cute! My dd got her first wheelchair about 6 months ago and it has made a huge difference for her. Although sometimes I miss the days of being able to keep her in arms reach- cause in her chair she tries to speed away a lot lol.
