Beautiful story, with a happy ending of a safe and healthy mom and baby. I am so glad you got to experience home birth and are accepting of your c/s. Sometimes like in your case they are needed and you and your birthing team did a great job of dealing with everything. Your baby is beautiful! I wish you fast healing and enjoy your newest blessing.

Congratulations on the birth of Beautiful Cora! I love her name. I am sorry you didnt get the birth that you wanted, but am so glad that you are peaceful about it. It is huge that you know you tried everything, and you don't have the huge list of "what-if's" hanging over you. So, thank you for sharing your story. I am planning a hbac for my nex baby (not yet concieved), and your story reminds me that even if it ends in CS it needn't be the traumatic experience we endured last time. Having competent care providers, being respected, having choices makes all the difference.
