I was telling my 3 year old that we are lucky that daddy is coming on the plane with us this time when we go visit Grandma. And he said to me "I'm not yucky mama!!!". Cracked me up.

And speaking of flying...I have been stressed because Westjet needs a note for us preggo's to fly at 32 weeks and beyond. My Dr. won't write me a "fit to fly" letter. So I was a little stressed because I didn't want to be hassled at the airport. Well, wouldn't you know, I got the date of our return flight wrong! I will only be 31 weeks and 6 days when we fly home. Hehe all that stress for nothing. So typical of me.

My 10 month old woke up in the middle of the night to party (I do NOT like this new phase) and while I was rubbing and patting her, she was sucking on a finger. Her daddy was blisfully unaware of her antics (and my hate-filled glares) as he snored away ... until DD stuck that tiny finger that she'd been sucking on RIGHT in his ear!

I cackled! No other word for it.

He, of course, went back to sleep and I was up with her for 2 more hours. But the wet willie was almost worth it!

has me cracking up so hard Ive almost peed myself.

And earlier my kids stayed with a friend while I went to my MW appt. and when I got back, her (i think 4 year old?) DS was calling my DD Princess as though it were her name.

And then, my DS made my DD a sammich and had this little gem of a conversation -
DS - Do you want mayo?
DD - Mayo?
DS - Mayo-Nays! It makes your bread taste sweeter.

Smile? My neighbor across the street caught me before going to work to introduce herself and let me know she has an in-home daycare and open space for me if I want/need it. An answer to prayer, potentially. She seems like a wonderful person.

Then I get home and the AC upstairs is out AGAIN for the 5th time this summer and we again have to sleep in the muggy heat until the HVAC guy can come take a look for the umpteenth time... My dog has a seizure and I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end for her - she's about 12... then I get hate mail from the mod here and lose it. I was proud of myself for being all zen and stuff, then that one little thing... ugh. Pregnancy.

Late last night I caught DBF "posing" DD (10 mos) in her sleep. (Think kung fu...)

Me: Stop that, if you wake her up, I'll kill you. She's not a dolly.
Him: No! She's an ACTION FIGURE! Hi-YAH!
