What are the best circ resources...

Thread Starter
for a young couple on the fence who don't know much about circ? My sister and her boyfriend are expecting a boy. They want to make the best decisions they can, but are not huge researchers, so I'd like just a few, easy to follow anti circ resources that I can send them real quick on Facebook.

I found some great info here:

http://www.aafp.org/online/en/home/c...cumcision.html

This is the American Academy of Family Practioners - which is nice because it's an "official" medical source that can be used to convince skeptics who think that doctors have all the answers. The thing that shocked me here was that they say the complication rate from circ ranges from 1 to 35 percent!

If you read it carefully it pretty much debunks every single argument FOR circ one by one - UTI's, STDs, penis cancer, etc.

This is from one of the very well known anti-circ sites - shows declining rates of circ to prove that if your kid is intact he won't be alone in the locker room. Like that matters.

I think this is one of the better ones for people on the fence, because it is written by doctors, covers all the bases, and has references listed:

This is also good, as it leads then through a decision tree:

There are many resources out there. Anohther good general information, one stop shopping site is:
