girl name help

I have a new baby girl on the way and am in super need of name help. Please vote for what you think sounds/looks best together. I listed the first name as Alora, but am totally open to Elora. (my only concern is people pronouncing it ee-lora, as opposed to uh-lora, the latter of which i prefer) If you have an opinion on the difference in sp, please mention that too, or any opinion for that matter. (even if you think all are absolutely horrible! lol. ) Thanks so much!

Alora Belle

Alora Isolde (ee-ZOLD)

Alora Ren

Alora Celeste

Alora Lyonesse (lee-o-NESS--it's Arthurian Legend)

Alora Isobelle

I like Alora Belle and Elora Belle equally and above the other names listed. I will note that I would prefer to have a name begin with an "A" over an "E" because "A"s are easier and more fun to write, IMO

I like it with an E I think... Elora Isolde or Elora Celeste.
I don't like A/Elora Belle. To me it sounds like "a laura bell." I also do not really like Ren, because it's a bit or a tongue twister to say Alora Ren.

I like Alora Belle!

I like E better, just because I know so many people that butcher A sounds,

and Celeste. the others sound almost like one long name when said together except for Ren which I just like multi syllable names better

Maybe because the first ends w/ a vowel as does the second begin. good point to consider.

I like Elora Belle. I find the two syllable-two syllable combos harder to say than two syllable-one syllable, but then, I'm a fan of using middle names for emphasis, so I use them more than most parents would.

I almost voted for Elora Ren, as well, but as I said it more to myself, it started to sound like E-Lauren.

Of the others, Elora Celeste is my favorite.

I like the A spelling.

And I think Alora Isolde is fabulous. I almost wish that it were MY name.

I like Belle or Celeste.

I'm due in March and if this baby is a girl, she's going to be Elora Nym. DD2 was either going to be Alia Quinn or Elora Nym and she's DEFINITELY an Alia.

I don't think it matters a bit what middle name you choose, since no one - well, hardly anyone - will ever know it, and you won't be using the two names together. So just pick the one you like best.

As for the first name, I confess that Alora looks like the name of a bodice-ripper novel heroine to me. Like it's a play on Alluring, or something. Elora looks more traditional, a derivation of Elnora, Eleanor, Ellen, etc.

These are my favorite:

Alora Celeste
Alora Lyonesse

especially the second. I think the first name is nice with an 'A.' I have to say, I would never guess the pronunciation you want if you spelled it with an 'E.'
