Welcome to the new thread. I saw no one had taken it and just jumped on over.

I've a question to pose for those who don't own any baby stuff right now. Do you find yourself buying somewhat odd things? I realized the other day that I am amassing quite a collection of children's books and I didn't even realize it. I know it will eventually be great, but it seems like a strange thing to buy when TTC. I was a voracious reader as a little kid though, and I think I'm really hoping my children will be too.

Thanks, elonwy! I have a huge collection of kids books too, but that's because I'm a teacher so I have that excuse, too. For me, it's just a little too painful to buy kids stuff. i did once, and then my sister and I both miscarried and it SUCKED seeing those adorable clothes lying around in my closet. I got rid of them.

Blanca, I'm sorry for the temp drop. A longer LP is a good thing, though it does make the wait longer. Enjoy a nice glass of wine tonight!

Heeeheehee I can't contain myself, I have to share.
So today is my one year wedding anniversary with my husband. Halloween before last, before we were married, I made us matching penguin costumes for halloween. So since the traditional gift is paper, I made him origami kissing penguins. They are so cute!
Now if he would just wake up. *sigh*

Ok, I'm done being silly now.

Elonwy... I have a garage full of baby and toddler things. Crib, highchair, clothing, toys... I collected most of it when I was preparing to adopt. But, I still add to it sometimes. Just last week I saw a baby carrier for a great price at a thrift store, and it is know in my garage!

AAM... Feeling sick again, no (sorry TMI) green mucous yet, so I'm holding off on the doctor and therefore, antibiotics. Going to take some garlic and Oil of Oregano.

Everybody think Fertile Thoughts!!!

Hugs Tear78, ScarletJane and Blanca78!

Thanks for the new thread, elonwy.

I have hardly any baby stuff. I made a wrap, when I found some good fabric on clearance. I guess I don't want to spend money on it, or use space to keep it when I don't know how long this is going to take. I have done a lot of research on what I would want to buy though. I would have started knitting, but I don't want the ladies in my knitting group to know I'm TTC, lol.

Thanks for the new thread!

I, too, was a voracious reader as a kid and hope I get "a reader." I used to work in the children's dept. of a Borders book store and have quite the children's book collection, though I bought them for myself, not a future child.

In other news, I really want to test today. I accidentally (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) bought a two-pack of tests. AF is due Wednesday, but I'm having such a hard time waiting. Will I or won't I...?

I haven't bought anything out of the ordinary. I bought a cute boy outfit that's hanging in my 2nd bedroom closet.

6 dpo and I was feeling ok. Up until a few min ago. I couldn't talk to dh without almost gagging. I felt really nauseous. I had a cramp for a few mins. Implantation cramp? It was weird. Woke up with a runny nose. Got flem, yuck. But that's about it.

how is everyone doing?

I hope your nausea is a good sign. Otherwise, it's really not "worth" it! Or at least, that's what I told myself the other day.

Um... I may have just gotten a BFP. I mean I did, but I did one thing sort of wrong. And I'll admit -- I tested on a whim (was going to wait until Wednesday morning, then changed that to Tuesday, then...). The thing I did wrong was pee on the test strip with the "result" window facing towards me (wrong!) instead of away from me (as directed). I don't think I splashed the result window, but if I did, could that cause a false positive?!

What?! You can't just leave us in suspense like that! Retest! Retest!!

AFM, 11dpo and couldn't wait until tomorrow to test... bfn. I also had a bit of a temp drop and had EWCM today. FF said that EWCM is often a sign that AF is coming. On to cycle #5...

I'm going to wait a day, then retest Tuesday am. Fingers crossed!

Nah. If I had self-control I wouldn't have tested this afternoon. I think that if I wait through tomorrow and am still positive it will feel more real.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement!

Oh, rotten! I didn't know that EWCM could be a sign of AF. I'm sorry to read this.
I get EWCM before AF, or, at least, I used to. Seems like my cycles aren't at all predictable anymore.
Please move me to 'Waiting to O' ...Im on CD1

I just had an 11 day LP with spotting on 10+11DPO ..AF arrived on 12DPO morning... SHOCKING.

I always get 14 day LP's .... Probs the stress from moving! ...
