DTaP fussiness-Is there anything I can do?

DS had the first DTaP round on wednesday. Since then he has been very fussy...no other reaction, no fever, no redness or anything at the injection site. Just very fussy and agitated. So now that I'm beating myself up over allowing the vaccine, is there anything I can do to help him feel better? He's 3 mos old and EBF.

I was going to give tylenol but since the recall I can't find any!!!

Don't give tylenol or any acetaminophen. I *may* affect the body's ability to remove toxins.

Someone else may be able to help more, but I just wanted to throw that out quick.

I just came across that info on another thread, thanks.

How's he doing today? I'd say to treat it like a migraine...low lights, calm house, breastfeed on demand, no noise.

You can apply warm compresses at the injection site. Last time my dd had her vax's I nursed her while the nurse gave her the injection.
