Starting College, while homeschooling?

I am wondering if anyone else has started college while they were homeschooling. I have 4 kids, ages 9, 8, 6 and 14 months. I am really wanting to start school, hopefully in the spring. My classes for the first couple years would be part time, while i get the core studies done. Then after a couple years, i would have to switch to pre med, and there is no part time pre med. I would want to continue homeschooling during this time, but i dont know how i would be able to do it.
Now, i dont HAVE to do pre med. There are other options for my ultimate degree. But i feel that Pre med will offer me the most, and give me the best education for my ultimate degree.
So, have you been to school, while homeschooling and raising young children? How hard it is it? do you hire help with cleaning and cooking and stuff, or do you manage?

I haven't been in your boat with homeschooling (my DS is too little still), but I do offer you a piece of advice-- try to focus on the prereq's for now, and take it one year at a time. If you have options, maybe try not to worry as much about it until you have to make a decision on whether or not to do premed.

And, above all, if you need extra help (with dishes and laundry, etc.), by all means take out the loans to cover it if you have to! Premed is going to be intense, and your kiddies need you. Gotta love those student loans!

After reading your post I thought of this school, for your kids when they are old enough. http://http://secondfoundationschool.wordpress.com/, or I should say, maybe you might want to see if there is a school like this in your area, in case you need a place for your kids to go while you're in school. The things I really like about this school are that the kids make a lot of the decisions about what they want to study, and parents can drop them off and pick them up whenever they want, and the parents can stay at the school with them if they want. Again, I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it was just a thought.
