So, we are new to this whole feeding a kiddo with allergies thing... so far we know he allergic/sensitive to:

-tomatoes
-peaches
-blueberries
-blackberries
-any citrus fruits
-strawberries
-any juices of the above mentioned items

I am pretty sure there is more too but we haven't figure it out yet. What fruits and veggies can I feed him? I have to feed the rest of us the same stuff (me, DH, and 2 year old)...

Yep that was just what I was going to say. There is lots of evidence that sal sensitivity is a nutrient deficiency... see the Salicylates/Histamines/Amines tribe thread in this forum.

You should also be aware of the artificial preservatives and colors which are salicylates (in medication too even if you eat whole foods...) Or it might explain the once in a while treat which makes your child crazy. The few times my son got artificial color he was a hitting screaming insomniac mess.

Hey Chely, we are down to two fruits right now, limes and pears. Not a lot huh? Del Monte does have canned pears packed in sugar only which we have found to be a good option.

Banana is on the negligible list which would be good too. We can't do them because of the latex issue.

Veggies... we do onions, potatoes, peas, Brussels sprouts, garlic, asparagus, head lettuce, and cabbage. Rice and beans are good too.

We eat a lot of dairy. I eat eggs, though my dd won't touch them.

Don't remember if you said you are gf but if you are, we use the Rizopia (www.rizopia.com) noodles which are 100% rice.
