Almost 48 hours old and no name. Help!

After 9 months on team green, I had a perfect baby girl on Sunday morning. We had a good list of boys names and a few girls names but here we are almost two days later and she still doesn't have a name.

The problem is DH has a very common last name - White. My first choice for a name was Lillian. However Lillian White will end up as Lily White. Umm... no.

Then today we had pretty much decided on Sabrina. I googled Sabrina White and the only thing that comes up is a porn star. *whimper* Although I've never heard of her and don't know how well known she is I can't name my daughter after a porn star.

So now we're stuck. Here's some other names in the running, although none of them seem perfect:

Savannah
Sienna
Vivian
Georgia - I like it, but DH is so-so on it. He's willing to go let it grown on him but I don't want to push a name on him.

Any ideas? I'm feeling desperate.

that is a tough one. i love savanna, but not sure w/ white--makes me think of the woman on wheel of fortune. (whats her name?)

can you combine and hyphenate both your last names to sort of break things up? i readily run into naming issues due to our last name too, and have had to toss a *ton* of perfectly beautiful names, so i feel your pain.

Jillian? it's similar to Lillian.

Charlotte? people who like Georgia seem to like Charlotte.

Yeah, sounds like Vanna White! That would bug me way more than some porn "star"-- honestly almost any name will come up in a search like that, b/c there are thousands and thousands of porn "stars" online-- any girl with photos up is portrayed like that. zUnless that's actually a very famous porn star (I dunno, ask some scuzzy guy? ), I'd go with it, b/c it's a great name!

What's the rush?
We waited until it felt right to name our first.
It took five months! And although we got some looks, waiting felt right! Ds was 'little bird' until his name came.
I've heard that some cultures don't give the child it's 'real' name until the fifth year celebration.
You'll know when it's right. There is really no reason to rush.

DD3's middle name is Jorja, which I like better than the traditional spelling and used because all of them have J middle names.

I'm going to venture to guess that 99% of the world wouldn't know of any "Sabrina White" of questionable fame. (Gee, at least I hope not!) I suppose, in 15 or 20 years, when she Googles her own name (everyone does that, right?) she might not like what she finds, but would a porn star really still be around in 15-20 years?!

Anyway, I think you should go with what you love, forgetting about Google and all that.

I do also like the suggestion of Charlotte.

And, FWIW, my 3rd DS was officially nameless for 3 days. We did announce his first name on the 3rd day, but we had *nothing* when he was born. Go with what you love and what fits your DD best, and the rest will be fine.

I liked the Jillian suggestion as well- and your choice of Vivian-

Some of my own suggestions: Samantha, Miranda, Helena, Genevieve, Jordana, Katia, Natalie, Rebecca, Alexandra, Alessandra

For one syllable last names, I think 3+ syllable first names sound nice.

While they might not match the style of your ideas, our girls are Haleigh and Morgan.

Of your stated options, I like Vivian. Sienna is also a colour so I would say no to that one. And I do agree with other posters about the porn star name, in 15 years, it won't matter.

I wouldn't worry at ALL about Sabrina White the porn star. What regular person will have ever heard of her? And like everyone else said, they don't have a long shelf life, anyway. If that's the name you love, then go for it.
