Robitussin Dose?

What is the recommended dose of guaifenesin?

The recommended dose for improving cervical mucus, based on a 1982 article in Fertility and Sterility, is two teaspoons (200 mg) taken orally three times per day. If mucus still appears thick and doesn't have good spinnbarkeit (ability to stretch), one can take as much as four teaspoons (400 mg) four times per day (the maximum dose on this over the counter medication). Each dose should be taken with a full glass of water, and attention should be given to drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day -- one needs water to produce mucus.

Am I reading this correct ? If I took a normal dose I would take all together in 1 day 6 teaspoons but If I took the max dose I take 16 Teaspoons?

16 spoons sounds ALOT! ...

Is this correct I got it of a website so Im not sure if its old/new or even reliable ...

My Robitussin come with a Cup as well not a spoon ? AHH

The info you have above is the same dosing info I have printed on my bottle of Robitussin. The little cup should be marked with teaspoon levels, all the way up to 4 teaspoons.

I personally start out with 2 teaspoons every 4 hours, then up the dose to 4 if I need to, but most cycles the lower dose (and lots of water) is all I need.
