is nocirc the rule or exception in the UK?

I am in Scotland, About to have my ds start attending a nursery. He is so excited! He has an intact foreskin and I am fiercely protective of his private parts. (I have to be in the States to keep anyone from injuring him due to ignorance...like the Dr.)

My question is whether or not it is more common for boys to be circumcised or intact here.
If nocirc is more common then I will have nothing to worry about. In the States (where we are from) If someone saw his penis they would think something was wrong with it! I even had a Dr. try to retract his foreskin in a routine office visit, this was traumatizing to me and him so you can see why I am a bit jumpy about this issue.

Really hoping to hear from some moms about what is common!

Yup, intact is WAY more common I only know of circs being done here for religious reasons or medical necessity.

My BIL, age 30, was circed for medical reasons aged 6 and he is the only male I know in our area, my age or younger, who is not intact.

My Son was born in the USA and he was teased by a Mom in our playgroup for 'looking like an anteater'
